Write a 5 paragraph essay according to the structure we studied today in class. You must answer to the question: what is the subject public schools should teach to live a better life as a society?
VERY IMPORTANT: use the 5 paragraph essay structure.
For those students who wish to bring in their project "sculpture made with recycled materials", you can bring it in tomorrow. They will be graded on a 0 to 7 scale.

Tarea de fisica para martes 6
Inverstigar acerca de los materiales semiconductores eléctricos, sus características y para que se usan.
También investigar que causan los cortos circuitos y como se pueden evitar.
Ambas en su cuaderno.
Del proyecto traer la investigación quienes no la entregaron hoy (sobre 8). Y el boceto del modelo de su proyecto para su aprobación.

1. Make a sculpture with recycled materials that you find at home or in the garbage. It can be anything that you like, and the size you want. Remember that it has to be useful: art is supposed to make you think!
Students who wish to work in pairs may do so. Just remember you have to present your work of art and we will take pictures to publish here in the blog.
2. Study for Monday's quiz.
On Monday, Oct. 4th we will have a quiz. You will be able to answer questions in present and past simple, present perfect and present continuous.
I will make another post with cheat sheets and help to study for the Quiz.

PROYECTO FÍSICA 2
MÁQUINAS SIMPLES: VEHÍCULO CON MOTOR
DE CALOR O ELÉCTRICO.
CONSTRUIR UN VEHÍCULO CON MATERIALES
RECICLADOS Y QUE TENGA MOTOR DE CALOR O ELÉCTRICO.
OBJETIVO: Aplicar los conocimientos adquiridos
en la construcción y demostración del funcionamiento del vehículo.
DINÁMICA: En equipos de tres personas se
trabajará el proyecto. Se realizará en cuatro etapas:
1 INVESTIGACIÓN: Se entregará el lunes 5 a computadora
con portada y en folder.
¿Cómo
funciona un motor de calor o eléctrico con energías alternativas? No baterías.
¿Qué
transformaciones de energía están presentes el tu proyecto?
Aplicaciones
de los términos físicos vistos en clase.
2 PLAN DEL PROYECTO: Se entregará un boceto con las
debidas explicaciones de cómo se va a hacer el modelo y qué materiales se van a
utilizar el martes 6 para su aprobación.
3 ENTREGA DEL MODELO: El jueves 8. Que si funcione.
4 EXPOSICIÓN: Viernes 9. Demostración y explicación
del funcionamiento en base a los conceptos de física vistos en clase.
EVALUACIÓN: Cada etapa se evaluara individualmente
por alumno. En la exposición se evaluará la participación verbal de cada
alumno, su presencia, el contenido de la información y la originalidad del
modelo, funcionando.
